Looking ahead to 2027, we could see Canada’s housing landscape shift in some interesting ways. According to CMHC, as incomes and economic growth strengthen, housing conditions are expected to gradually improve. While home sales are forecasted to recover, the pace may stay below the levels we saw during the previous decade. The Canadian Real Estate Association is projecting only modest growth in national home prices, hinting at a more stable market environment instead of another sharp surge. Increased inventory and softer demand in certain markets could also provide buyers with more room to negotiate. In my experience helping families find the right home and build wealth in Greater Vancouver, these evolving conditions highlight the importance of strategic planning and strong negotiation. My focus remains on putting your financial and emotional interests first, ensuring you’re well-positioned no matter how the market changes.
